A Message from
Ben Cadwallader,
Executive Director
Fellow music lovers,
On behalf of LACO’s Music Director Jaime Martín, our stellar musicians, distinguished Board of Directors, and dedicated staff, I am thrilled to share with you a pivotal development that will help shape the future of our beloved organization.
After much deliberation and careful consideration, I am delighted to announce that Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra has partnered with The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills to co-present LACO’s subscription performances on the west side. Beginning in the 2024/25 season, The Wallis will be our new home for all west side Orchestral, Chamber, and Baroque concerts.
We reflect on LACO’s legacy at Royce Hall with deep admiration and gratitude for decades of marvelous musical memories made in that beautiful hall. Likewise, we look forward to a vibrant future at The Wallis, a venue uniquely suited to providing the intimacy and clarity demanded by chamber orchestra repertoire.
We have so much to look forward to in our years ahead at The Wallis. Jaime and Margaret have enthusiastically endorsed the richly detailed and bright acoustics, noting similarities to London’s world-renowned chamber music venue, Wigmore Hall.
Parking at The Wallis is abundant and conveniently located in a dedicated subterranean garage with direct access to the hall by elevators and escalators. And of course, Beverly Hills is known to Angelenos and worldwide for its unparalleled selection of fine restaurants and bars, offering a near-endless variety of options for pre-/post-concert dining and entertainment, all within a short walk from The Wallis.
Thank you for your loyalty to LACO and your passion for the arts. I cannot wait to welcome you to our new west side home at The Wallis as we embark on this thrilling new chapter together.
Gratefully yours,
Ben Cadwallader
Executive Director
