From frequent performances with the LA Phil to backing up Kanye West at Coachella, Los Angeles-based harpist Jacqueline Marshall maintains a busy and diverse performance schedule.
Jacqueline has recorded for dozens of major motion pictures including Disney’s Encanto and Disney/Pixar’s Luca, and for shows like Glee, the MTV Movie and TV Awards, America’s Got Talent, and Rod Stewart’s PBS Christmas Special. She has recorded several albums for Deutsche Grammophon with Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil, including on the Grammy award winning album Charles Ives: Complete Symphonies, and she can be heard prominently on the first commercial recording of Lou Harrison’s opera Young Caesar with the LA Phil New Music Group. She has performed with notable artists including Michael Bubble, DMX, Chance the Rapper, Kid Cudi, Boy George, Ben Harper, Mary J. Blige, Paul Reubens, and Diana Krall. Jacqueline has appeared as a featured soloist at the Banff Music Festival, with Symphony Irvine, the UCLA Symphony Orchestra, and as faculty soloist with the La Sierra University Orchestra. Jacqueline received a B.A. and an M.M. from UCLA and a P.S.D. from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Jacqueline is currently on faculty as Adjunct Lecturer of Harp at La Sierra University, and has been a regular recitalist and lecturer for the Gluck Foundation’s Music Outreach Program and at UCLA Extension.
