Boss Witch Productions is an artistic production company focused on the intersection of experimental sound art, ritual performance, video art, and transmedia collaboration within natural landscapes.
Directed by Carmina Escobar (she/her) and Madeline Falcone (they/them), Boss Witch was founded to support the work of artists in our community while establishing a sustainable, artist-driven infrastructure for the creation of experimental, site-specific work. Recent projects include Bajo la Sombra del Sol in collaboration with REDCAT and the Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angeles, Vox Clamantis with performance artist Ron Athey; and two collaborations in Spring 2022 with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and composers Derrick Skye and Shelley Washington. Our work is driven by deep engagement with place, community, history, collaboration, craft, and imagination.
